My name is Josef Meier, I have loved wildlife and the great outdoors since I was a small boy.  That passion led me to open Stone River Wildlife Studio.

I come from a long line of great Outdoorsmen. My father was a writer for Wilderness Camping, Outdoor Life and Ranger Ricks youth magazine.  We went on many outdoor adventures where I was the character for the articles my father wrote.  

I take pride in running the Stone River Wildlife management area and Stone River Wildlife Studio.  Even though game laws are very hard to enforce, I take great pride in never breaking any in my life and I will not hunt or fish with anyone that has. I would enjoy helping you with your taxidermy needs, to preserve the memories of your adventures for generations to follow.
